This is Drew. He is a King led by a King. He will lead as such. Being proud of who he is, as a person, is the first step to leading properly. He exhibits great strength. His abilities on this earth are limitless. Never should he feel that he is better than anyone. No one owes him anything. He will work for what he wants out of life. He is allowed to express himself, respectfully. He will not lose his voice. He is taught to LOVE and be PROUD of his skin; to LOVE and be PROUD of his mother's skin. You can not tell him he doesn't matter. His confidence in this crazy world will tell you otherwise. Because he is proud of who he is, doesn't mean he hates who you are. Checkmate.

My dad is a positive role model for my brother. He matters. My dad is also a positive role model for his grandchirren. He matters. My husband is a positive role model for my son. He matters. Not all black men are bad. These men are actually stellar. Society will make you think otherwise. Spewing confetti over all of the black males that are doing great things in this world. We see y'all. You matter. They matter. He matters.
